Yeah, but from a psychological standpoint, Bruce rarely leaves the batman mindset, that it's deeper than costume for him. For all intents and purposes Bruce Wayne died at 8 years old with his parents.

Wow, I was trying to remember where I heard this Superman/Kent theory and could not figure it out. Thank goodness for wikipedia and youtube...lol - I found this is seconds! What a wonderful theory!

his powers were known while he was growing up but the kents told him not to use them untill he was mature enough as demonstated in the football game scene in the first film were he could use his powers to be a gret player but dosent

too true, when superman wakes up all he needs is his cape and he's superman. bruce wayne wakes up and he needs to put on the cape and cowl and get his little gadgets to become batman. peter parker needs to put on his mask and costume to become spider-man.
