Good idea about Deaf ArchBishop but it is UP to Shawn Carey's decide. We cannot force him to become Pope or ArchBishop. He will need to take his own time to think about it. Best of luck, Shawn Carey!

I think need Seminarian Shawn Carey will become specialArchBishop in deaf USA? I think this better than Deafhood? because Deafhood have no power authorized because hearing world will mock and out control Deafhood. Because Catholic have over 700,000,000 mass and strong relationship. right? This my opinon and idea but offer. Thanks for help on Job! Job! Job for D/deaf! thanks Hail Mary tTt amen!

Why did you bring up Richard Roehm on that issue? I feel so sorry for Richard Roehm because he may have so much frustrated life. I did tried email him while my Deaf son had problems in mainstream public school with the lack of education from not qualified interpreter! He had not response to my email 5 or 6 times. I just found out that he had problems with his own hometown.

first Deaf Pope world? wow! so if God self pick right Deaf Pope but only deaf* people world.*maybe Deafhood :) but if God call leader or deaf Pope,...than any man. Richard Roehm control his deafhood? NO WAY! because He (RR) has his 2 masters! or sometime confused. :)
