You're a great teacher. I believe in conservation for future generations, but not because I believe humans are at the root of global climate change. Instead, I believe in another form of risk management: there is no guarantee that our growing scientific knowledge will find a large, inexpensive, and clean source of energy. Hydrocarbon technologies make our entire existence possible. Best not to use it all up until we have an alternative. If someone replies "hydrogen" you're an idiot.

even if global warming is caused by a natural source i don't want to compound the problem by not trying to soften the blow. a little pain now is better then a lot of pain later. even if global warming is a farce it will not be time and money wasted. we will have new technologies at our disposal that may save us way later on or at least make life easier. action needs to be taken. i am tired of short term views of people. ahem now that i am off my soapbox i would like to thank you for this video
