Good ques the reason is why I am writing this now because somebody asked why have those guys got there collars up just a bit of silly ness they did when planning the video shoot that would always promot the question Why those guys got the collars tuned up??? silly I guess but after all these years people are still asking.

Hi GuysGraham Gouldman of 10cc wrote this, as Earthquest stated below. He wrote lots of songs for the Hollies in the 60's - classics like 'Bus Stop'. 10cc's first single hit was 'Neanderthal Man', and they were then called 'Hotlegs'. They went on to do 'Rubber Bullets', Wall Street Shuffle', 'I'm Mandy fly me', and the immortal 'I'm not in love', and others. Check 'em out for real good sounds.PeaceJohn

The REAL version of this song is what you're listening to here. 10cc wrote and recorded the song back in the late 70s. I've never heard another version, sung by people of other colors or other white people. ;-)
