goathead you have a point but his songs have not only made him millions but other performers as well that puts Dylan in a catagory held by only a few.

he is an american original, a philosopher whose words are timeless, simple, and unpretentious, the stories he created resonate yesterday, today, and tommorow because they provide a message that all humans across time and culture can understand, simply put, dylan's words speak to the human buried inside all of us regardless of who or where we are, all the trappings that influence us are pared away if one takes the time to listen to the stories.
