Doesn't Peter Singer advocate sex with animals? It wouldn't surprise me at all if that were true.

No need to read his books, I pretty much know what they are going to say. So no, instead of presenting argument I'm going to call him a nut. Steve Forbes immediately stopped donating to Princeton because Singer was given a high place of respect. (Which he does not deserve)

Singer has been so influential in philosophy that he can't be dismissed without argument unless you're willing to dismiss the field of moral philosophy without argument.What have you read of Singer's? My insult is more than adequate as everyone who isn't a reptile with no soul will know exactly what I mean. What else can be said about the guy? He's insane in everyway, if this isn't obvious then you are like him.

I agree. He holds an extremely ignorant view that morality and compassion were solely introduced by Christianity. Jainism, Buddhism and other eastern faith systems I would consider rather peaceful and moral - they all predate Christianity.

Compassion was brought into the world from Christianity? What utter non-sense. Mr.D'Souza should study the history of his own country. The Jains are the extremists when it comes to compassion, they have ancient if not prehistoric origins.
