Wow, the progression from this to Child is Father To Man (BST) is eons... WTF! Why does this sound so sophomorish? ... first thing that comes to mind is .... no wonder he was only on BST 1st album, they needed a bit more substance.

Al came up with a great part on Like A Rolling Stone and if you listen to Highway 61 and Blonde on Blonde his playing gets more and more inventive. Al is one of my top five rock guys because he's a regular guy and it didn't all go to his head like so many others we know.

Say what you want about Al,but he gets the most amazing sound out of a Hammond 3B Organ and Leslie speakers.

That album is classic.I first had it taped from the original vinyl back in the late 70's..20 years later, I have an original cd.I always love Al Kooper's stuffs.Blues Project,Supersession, his work with Shuggie Otis, pronounce Lehnerd...and the one I miss most is..Kooper Bloomfield Goldberg..(KGB)..the song 'Workin' For The Children'..I can bet no one in this world could ever get it out on youtube.Anyone?
