that was a fantastic performance of a forgotton ragtime master. Joe Lamb's rags all have a special quality to them, and in someways like the harmonies he used exceeded Joplin, a very unique style. in fact when Lamb played 'Sensation' at Joplin's house in 1908 people thought Joplin wrote it! Its a shame he stopped writing rags for almost 40 years after his friend Joplin died, but at least when he was 'rediscovered' in the late 50's he decided to give us a few last treasures. great job

For Ragtime Bobolink see "Ragtime Treasures". Not sure where you can find the two Brown Derby rags. A bunch of rare Lamb pieces were published recently in a folio called "A Little Lost Lamb". I believe you can order it from Sue Keller's web site.

Nice, do you know where I can find some of the later Lamb rags, of those I only know Alaska Rag. I would like to learn ragtime Bobolink, brown derby etc

I have honestly been waiting for something from "Ragtime Treasures" other than Cottontail that maintains the right proportions between strains. This is excellent!
