I'm on a steely dan kick these days! I bought the "best of" CD and play it constantly (well in the car)just the kind of sounds that take me back. Oooh did that sound 'old'? ;P

that "cheeky solo" was played by jeff "skunk" baxter who later went on to play with the doobie brothers after steely dan wanted to stop touring. he also worked at manny's music store in new york where jimi hendrix used to buy all of his gear. he was a member of the hendrix band "jimi james and the blue flames". this song is so amazing, after all these years. i wonder who the female back up singers are.....

Why does this riff remind me of tapping kegs at school. Whatever about telling the diff between good music and bad,Steely leaves U with no choice. A very powerful unit that it appears is only getting much better.
