Omer, you can not compare the progress in the south with that of the north. remember the south was the battle ground. villlages can burnt, towns got destroyed, roads never got constructed, and few that were were mined, and were unpassable. south sudan is starting from nothing. the government in south sudan, splm, was never established as the government in khartoum, with resources and means to support the people, well, the northerners. please brother, talk right, blc war has destroyed s. sudan

don't talk about somali we don't have any think do what is happing in suden.we somali want every human life be save in every part of suden because we see them as our brother and sister and u know what we would haved help them any way we could but we have our won prombles

Omer, I do not only read southern sudanese regularly but also I talk to people and the indication is that we want our own country. This is a dry fact. Maybe you are quoting northern samplers. The rate of dev't in the north is fuelled by the south's resources and we are starting from nothing(it is not a failure). so don't expect the rates to be the same.Kiir is running because we have SPLM supporters in the Nuba mts and southern blue Nile who should also be allowed a free vote to separate.
Omer698 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You don't even live in Sudan my friend. Maybe you should try even reading the Southern Sudanese news papers that clearly indicate that the South wants unity with the North over the failure of the SPLM to make any progress in the infrastructure of the South compared to the rapid development in the North. Why do you think Salva kiir is running for president of the WHOLE country if people want seperation.
southsudan1 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Omer, you are dreaming. The idea of Unity is history. You will be surprised to see >90% voting for separation. I hope we will be good neighbours before Darfur separates.
Omer698 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
You don't live in Sudan, maybe you should actually come and see a recent poll that indicated over 70% of southerners will vote to be with the North, and this is not a Northern media source this is straight out of Juba.

People like Mahadjeey are still in dreamland of thinking that South Sudan can still be controlled by the North. we have freed ourselves forever and mind them, their vertical thinking is no longer relevant today |
