wrong. they wrote sweet home alabama in response to neil's song southern man. hence the quote in the song "neil young will remember southern man don't need him arround anyhow"

I really doubt that any of you have been to Alabama, there are just as many racists as anywhere else and that is considered wrong there the same as it is anywhere else. It has just as many rural and urban areas as any state with a lower population. Why would people not like Alabama? It's a fucking state, you can't generalize and entire state.
