Answering the question asked at 1:21:05.I live in Singapore for past 20 years.I am definately happy and optimistic for Singapore - for the system that we have here works.Not sure if Taiwan people are as pracmatic as we are, though!

I'm S'porean and have always supported meritocracy, PAP and Oppositions alike, my vote goes to the best leader. In fact I supported PM Lee given his track records are there for all to see. Ho Ching however shld step down from Temasek Hldgs, esp when there is no transparency in TH' books. HC has to step down like Lee Hsien Yang is doing for Singtel. Uncheck powers can corrupt. Just look at NKF, have we learned our lesson?

taiwan not only english poor , maths also poor 1959 - 1990 is 31yr not 21 yrs in between. taiwan ppl got no right to write off Singapore. This is how Lee Kuan Yew make Singapore a better place to live in.We don't want the goverment to be so politically open that they can fight each other in the parliment house as entertaining as their variety show.LOL

No doubt Singapore is still far behind Taiwan in terms of political freedom, but give her 15-20yrs and i'm sure she'll be able to reach the same pace of democracy as Taiwan, minus the political upheaval that Taiwan has been experiencing in the past 10 years. Taiwan had became one of the most valuable source of case study for Singapore. She needs to improve and refine Taiwan's political transition experience n reach full democracy minus e heavy social price Taiwan paid.

哈哈！去走访了一些小独独的网站真让我娱乐，但有些东西也太让人作呕 ~ 有个屎瓶 (视频)叫"二二八手牵手"的游戏，太象我小的时候在幼儿园的"丢手绢" 游戏，又很象大陆几十年前的文革运动。哎~ 一个好好的台湾省可让那几个处心积虑的政客搞得退步于时代了！看来有些人还患上了"台独颠贱症"，而且病得不轻啊！
