You are right, I don't play Piano. I appreciate good music, and I don't care what words are used, as in the grand scheme, it really doesn't matter. The music speaks for itself, and words are not needed. 'nuf sed

Most of these young people are excellent players at such young ages. I applaud them and wish them the best. There is one young girl, Aimi Kobayashi, of Japan, who is now 13 years old. Her videos on Youtube range in ages from 3 years to, I believe, 11 years old.You will be for a surprise. I played the Impromtu at 15 and still love it to this day.

Jigs1girlThank you for your comment. If one wants to do well in piano or a different area, one must use proper terminology for their platform to be believed. You must be a psychotherapist, your terminology is great and it appears you think you can diagnosea mental disorder may miles away. One the other hand, a pianist you are not. You are a control FREAK wannabe. After reading your comment page, there is no doubt in my mind that you are not believable. If you do play piano, give it up.

That kid's weird! She's not a normal kid....at her age, she can't possibly understand the true meaning of the music she's playing. Sorry to have to say this, but she' a bit like a performing monkey! I don't think it's right that the parents put her through all that training, just to be a side-show freak! Poor kid. Well, I suppose she might become a great pianist one day, but at what cost to her mental health?

ivypuppy, perhaps a little psychotherapy for your control issues, may be helpful. They may have medication, as well.

I feel that I must say, most of the pianist commenting here on utube seem to call piano music "songs". Please use the term "pieces" |
