The problem was that the Japanese mindset was to fight until you die and never surrender. The atomic bomb was horrific, but actually may have saved lives in the end.

Hitler shoot himself cause he had lost the war against CCCP. And the thing that made hitler split his troops into 2 european fronts was because the Commonwealth and USA assualted normandy in 1944. Long after the Wermacht forces was in full retreat on the eastern front. The opening of a western front was way too late and didnt do anything to the outcome of the war. And the dropping of the atomic bombs was the stupiest thing ever done. Japan is and island wich can easily be strangled on resources.

And up until the battle of Midway, America wasn't doing so well in the Pacific. But even after Midway the fighting that took place in the Pacific was nothing near insignifigant, the Japaneses soldiers more willing to die than to be captured, and well thats pretty self explanatory.Anyway whatever.... Im done.

MercifulBoss Hitler shot himself out of his own will. America joined the war after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and went to war with Hitler after he declared war on the U.S. His decision to declare war forced him to split his troops on two fronts, and if he had refrained from declaring war on the U.S. he probably would have won. The Pacific war was not by any means insignifigant, and the Japanese only surrendered AFTER the the U.S. dropped two atomic bombs on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
