bah, i hate this type of shows - the applause is probably also induced ... those drones in the public don't even know what's going onit's cool that mathieu wants to reach other audiences, and what's more to do a different type of performance (mixing fairy tales and animations in this case) ... i just wish it wasn't that stark :-/

heehee, I don't know what he's saying there, it seems to me to be either "rien rien du tout". Or he's telling the performer who has to go on after him, "Just go for it mate, don't mind them, don't look left or right, just go for it!" ;-)I don't know the setting/what kind of show this was. He did get a very good applause at the end. But then, he did play an awesome solo.

haha, that's true, what is he saying there??that audience is totally the wrong demographic; whereas here we are appreciating the intricacy of this guy's music, they would've been happy with some karaoke-type bimbo jumping around with lots of make-up on

It seems to me he may be saying the same thing backstage?! "Just nothing... no reaction whatsoever" (in 6.15?)Or maybe the audience were just caught up in the intensity of the emotion in the song.

It's a tribute to M that he can reach a variety of audiences. I love this and the other Soldat Rose he sings even though I know little French. Music, images, sweet ideas-isn't it Ok to balance out the violence and obscenity? I hope.. |
