sweetwater played on saturday, richie opened. I bought tickets(18$) got there on thursday, and i guarantee richie opened, as it was meant to be. I saw him tonight in Bremerton, Washington, and he was a star, brilliant, a national treasure.

This guy puts more heart & soul into 3 bars of his music than most of the slags put into the whole of their whole set. This is completely awesome.

"Freedom" & "Handsome Johnny" are both great songs, but the rest of his Woodstock set is criminally overlooked. Bootleg DVDs show his version of "With A Little Help From My Friends," where he mostly hummed the song, but it rocks anyway! Plus, he does a KILLER version of "I Can't Make It Anymore." Check them out!

Actually, it's pretty well established that he was the first act.He was on for three hours becouse the acts that followed him(including sweet water)where runing late and the promoters kept asking him to play more.
