Al's solo works were kind of obscure, but they really captured the period. "Jolie" said 1972, "Magic In My Socks" said 1969, "Turn My Head Towards Home" said 1976.Kooperites are usually nostalgia scholars.

I love Al Kooper. I wish I can get his solo CDs in the US with reasonable price. Hope more people upload his music.

G'day, There isnt too much of Al's work that is widely known: For example, Albums released way back then were either marketing 'ploys' or 'Blood Sweat and Tears' were, in the main Al K's backing band. Pete H.
