Saw the band in Whitehaven a month or so back, had been trying to get to see them for some time. Verdict? Astonishing. Damien o'Kane was with them and he was just sensational. This is a great video but doesn't do the live act justice (besides, the audio here sounds like it's taken from the CD - Brian ad-libs a lot when he's playing normally, yet this video's sound track is virtually identical to the studio version). Still, a great listen.

I might just follow the trend and say it, I'm a young musician too! A bodhran player of sorts to be exact, a bodhran player as it happens who is utterlyawe struck by John Joe's playing. It's incredible, and he's fast becoming an idol of mine!
