I don't know if I can say where he is right now. But, he is based out of Hurlburt Field. We had the chance while our Son was training in Kirtland AFB, NM to get a tour of a V-22. Very interesting aircraft.

ive bailed out of a few 53js mommapatty what is your sons name? and where is he based? 53s will be in service for a while with afsoc. the v-22s will take them over eventually but not anytime soon. hurlbert brings back good memories.

The MH53's are still still being used in active duty. My Son is a gunner on one.

afsoc at hurlbert has a squadron of v-22s now. Saw one the other day, had a couple of nacelles on its nose like a pave low. Perhaps the new generation?

Cv-22 still dont have a job...but it's true that mh-53s are phased out.
