At the most it will push the crisis one or two years. It is no solution.

Do you think that these refineries are just going to pop up like McDonalds restaraunts? It takes years, almost decades to get these refineries up and running. And the Department of Energy already reported it would take close to a decade for us to reap the benefits of offshore drilling. AWESOME! lets just ignore the problem, keep drilling and hopefully gas will be JUST under 20 bucks a gallon by then! woohoo!! Wake up!

hey ifyourscaredsayur, sounds like ur scared so just say U r. It's time to evolve past oil. The US has enough reserves for us to transition to hydrogen fuel, but they wont. maybe they're scared too. Keep drilling? It's this arrogant idea that we can rely on a old, and soon to be outdated fuel source, that got us into this mess in the first place. Tap our reserves and move onto hydrogen fuel. Solve the oil issue first, then the coal issue next. EVOLVE PEOPLE!!

Russia is taking over Georgia for their oil & oil pipeline.Israel will attack Iran soon!There will be oil shortages !Russia has threatened Israel to not do it.WE will have a war for oil in the future!We need to drill here now & everywhere offshore,Anwr,oil shale in the Rocky's which has 3times the amount of oil in all of Saudia Arabia right now!Why did God put so much oil under the ground if were not suppose to use it!I don't know how the hell the Democrats will get all this tax money !

How are Liberal's going to get all the stuffthey like to buy at stores & grocery stores!Have them use covered wagon's!A fill up coast trucker's $487.Independant truckers are dropping like flies.They can't make their truck payments on their $100,000+truck's & they have mortaage's,bills & a family to support!Why not help them they didn't do anything to deserve this!!Screw these helping these people that got a house they couldn't afford & these idiot lender's that gave them the loan.

the us Govt would let them build new refineries. It not like they aren't building them for no logical reason. How hard is it to see the govt blocks the democrats put in place ALWAYS result in high pricing. It like watching retards try and mate when you listen to liberals talk.

to this day oil is the most efficient form of energy besides nuclear, which we obviously couldnt use in a car. He is ranting about shit that his party causes. Every major oil company is racing to find a replacement for oil so they can increase their profits by 100000%. It doesn't exist. We have plenty of oil, enough for 100+ years, relax and quit going nuts. You people are so stupid you listen to anything your Internet-inventing Gore messiah says.
