The United States school system failed me MISERABLY, and I am having to teach myself, and have college classes teach me, all the stuff that I did not learn in K-12.

Seriously, most people who send their kids to public schools (up to high school) know how it'll be. Yes it is another manner to get children to conform to how the government wants you to think but come on, in college public or not, adults will discover the world and make their own choices- if they make it that far.
