Superficiality has always sadly existed among people, yet in today's society, it has become particularly bad. Why? Well, I personally blame it on the current pop culture scene, especially today's, you guessed it, (C)RAP. I'll say this right now, the things modern (c)rap promotes are horrid, and to judge everyone by their looks is a "thing" among gang culture. It's extremely pathetic and I am by no means a part of any of it. BTW, I LOVE Celtic Woman!!! Wonderful group.

I first found out about this guy from hearing his song "Pavilion" on XM. I bought his album, "Rusted Wheel of Things" and it has been one of my favorite albums since the first time I heard it. It is a classic that very few people have ever heard.

the celtic woman soloists have such beautiful voices, and thanks to david, they can use them in a beautiful way as well. david has proven himself as a wonderful director and producer through all the wonderful songs he has put together for celtic woman. who cares what he looks like?

I completely agree with you. I think it's a shame that people find it amusing to put someone down because of his looks. It makes me wonder what these people look like... Regardless, David Downes is an extremely gifted composer, and he has definitely established himself at a fairly young age. I think talent like his (and the ladies of Celtic Woman, of course) is hard to find and should be respected.

I find it curious that those who have not accomplished anything in their lives have the inmmaturity and bad taste to make insulting remarks about those who have established themselves as premier talents.
