I might vote for Barr, I love the platform but I really really hate this guys record.On the bright side he's not going to win and that way I can further the libertarians.

Barr was against the Patriot Act from the beginning but only voted for it for the sunset clauses so it would not be permanent. He is against the federal war on drugs and wants to bring the troops home and end our policing of the world. He is for drastically lowering taxes and he is against socialism! What is left and right? Bob Barr supported the Patriot Act, the Drug War, and the invasion of Iraq.Now he wants to raise taxes and wage war.Barr is to the left of Obana.

I am tired of people saying that anyone who changes their mind with new information is flip-flopping. I have MORE respect for someone who can admit their mistakes and is willing to re-evaluate their opinions and past decisions based on new information. That, to me, is the sign of a mature, THINKING person, and a good leader. Barr is a thinking leader because admits he changed his mind on the Patriot Act (and others), and cites specifically why he did so. That's a great quality in a leader.
