Jevetta,if you only knew.. my Mother passed away Dec 27th 2007. Sherry Conner was a big fan of Bagdad Cafe,all of us 3 kids heard it over and over and over! lol. We moved to Vegas..it ment that much to her.. you made a difference, you sing like an angel with a voice that crosses the galaxy..it must be heard.Beautiful doesnt cover it neither does amazing.. Such a hauntingly beautiful song. Jevetta Steele sings it better than anyone. Your shots of the movie are so reminiscent - I recall watching it years ago. Very nice job.

I like this version most, but the Juliette Schopmann version is not either bad.

Indeed! Both song and movie are totally unforgettable! Remember one of the major telephone service companies like AT&T or MCI used the song in a commercial years ago? |
