I never knew how much hard work was involved in being a Drill Instructor. That is, until my husband voluntarily chose to become a DI, here on Parris Island. These DI's go through a grueling, 12 week training also known as drill instructor school. Afterwards, these DI's are away from their families on an average 120 hours a week! for 12 weeks at a time. No weekends off. No government holidays,...nada. After their recruits graduate as marines, the drill instructor may get on an average 1-2 weeks off, Before starting 12 weeks on the recruits, all over again. For the next three years! - There are no words to quite describe it. I've never seen harder working people. I'm very proud of them ALL!I made this movie for my husband after a very tiring and long week of training recruits. He really enjoyed it. He has always said, he thinks of his family for his motivation and drive to "lean forward". He's the best husband and father a family could ever ask for! Thank you Lord Jesus! And I thank my husband for standing firm in his faith in Jesus Christ our Lord. And guiding this family in the truth of the Lord.

May I ask that you add in the "About This Video" your husband's name and what battalion he is in? You never know, a young marine may have had your husband as a DI...

have you seen a recruiter? I suggest going to a recruiter anyway and let him come talk to your parents WITH you, they are good with stuff like that! good luck, it would be great to have you
