The cliffs of Dooneen are situated at the back of Ballybunion thats according to Christy himself

That's because the name has been changed - here in West Clare it's believed it should be Moveen, a townland just to the south-west of Kilkee with a high hill and dramatic cliffs. You really can see "the towns of Kilkee and Kilrush" from there, and probably from nowhere else.

Clare is indeed visible from Dooneen, on the other side of the Shannon Estuary, but there aren't any cliffs there, and though you might just be able to make out Kilrush, you definitely can't see Kilkee. Been there, done that!

christy discovered them himself he made a canoe out of old gutairs and built a boat, the gutair he is playing now he used as a paddle. if you dont believe me check wikipedia. only joking best song ever
