I grew up not too far from where this was filmed, in Santa Paula, California. The town looks more or less the same as it did in 1985, including the dusty old train station.

I saw DDY @ the Naperville "last fling" last night...clip on my videos...the guy is still has the same great voice...maybe even better. Saw STYX earlier this summer and well....a good show....tough without Dennis's stage presents. Looks like he's having fun doing his thing at 61....keep it up!

Styx is a joke without Dennis DeYoung. Their new singer sounds similar and they are in town in a couple weeks but I'm gonna pass...nothing can beat the original, just like coca cola.

It's amazing to see the changes that have taken place. I grew up in a small town, and in 1981, the elementary school that I was going to closed down because of budgetary constraints. After that, it just became an old, condemned building. Then in the early 90s, a developer turned it into condos.And then there was the amusement park in our town that had been there for generations. It closed down in 1985, and was also turned into condos. Geez, I miss my old town!
