To 2rainbowed: I agree w/you...Linda Ronstadt has got to have the BEST VOICE EVER!!! Cannot understand why she has NOT been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I don't care for Sheryl Crow. I loved Ronstadt's singing, I just think she could have given a stellar performance if she only slowed down in this rendition of the song.

I think your sadly mistaken, she sings this song even better than Sheryl Crow, sang it...I love Sheryl, but Linda Ronstadt's voice is far, far, far better! This is the best song ever...

She was always very insecure about live performing and you can hear the nerves in her voice. She's still brilliant. It was the perfect era for her. If Linda were just starting out today the record company would probably force her to perform dance moves onstage with backup dancers. |
