they are soo light? Are you SURE you've handled them? actually heavy is not the proper word, well balanced is the right one! The sticks are definitely heavier than your average, say you compare regular Vic Firths 7's versus fives, the fives will def feel heavier, perhaps that's what you mean. but I know for a fact SG 7a's versus regular 7a's leads to the gadds being heavier.
