the acting and the dialogue was much better in the The Departed but obviously the original movie deserves more credit

are u serious??? this was a remake of a chinese movie in 2000. Watch the opening of the original "infernao affairs" scorce plagerized like a bich and got an oscar. watch infernal affairs and then this film its 99% frame by frame copy

I so totally agree. I fell in love with this movie. I love it. Martin Scorcese rocks, and the entire cast was just crazy. Everyone from Mark Wahlberg to Anthony Anderson. The ending was unexpected.
