Julian Priester and Jimmy Bennington at Ennui Cafe, Chicago
Legendary jazz trombonist Julian Priester and master drummer Jimmy Bennington perform at Ennui Cafe, Chicago on July 15, 2007. The two performed at Chicago's Velvet Lounge on July 5-6 to rave reviews. Bennington's new album, "Portraits and Silhouettes," is a cooperative effort brilliantly performed by the two jazz experts. The album is available on CD Baby. I took photos and video of the Ennui performance on July 15. The tune they perform in this video is "Nashira," performed and composed by J. Priester/J.Bennington.
