Ten budyneczek (1:58, na lewo) mi troszkę przypomina The Flatiron Building w Nowym Jorku

In those days REAL Poles could have build wonderful Poland in 20 years. But now Poland can't build itself back because of the war and communism, and the Politicians that are NOT Poles.

Despite tremendous cost, loss of life and catastrophic structural damage, Warsaw gained a character few cities in the world can be proud of. It is a city that rose like a Phoenix from the ashes. I believe that Hitler looking up from hell, and seeing todays Warsaw realises that despite all the effort to destroy Poland, he and his Nazi Germany was really powerless. I know it infuriates him and still does many Germans today, which is great!

What beautiful images of a time that once was and certainly lives long in the hearts and minds of its proud people. I so love this!

It's barbaric alright. However, the decision to defend the city against massive artillery was a huge mistake. Full of patriotic fervour but unfortunately hopeless and unrealistic.
