Roland Kirk who died in 77 also played 2, and sometimes more Saxes at once. He was quite well known for it - his calling card. I agree its unusual.

well, I do think there is still some good stuff out nowadays; only if you look past all the pop and capitalist bands/artists. There are still lots of good progressive bands out there, such as Ayreon, Dream Theater, Disillusion, Opeth, Planet X, etc. A lot of the new prog is metal now though, but it doesn't make it any less great.

Absolutely gorgious! Still my favourite group. What a pity, that David Jackson left VdGG again.His double sax is unique!
