I would have to say that Yzerman won this fight. He took a barrage of punches from Maguire, but wasn't even phased by them. And then after they both went down he got out of his grips and KO'd Mag with a few shots.

You're a fool, my friend. Yzerman is the reason why the Wings have won 4 cups in 11 years. When he got to Detroit, they were absolute trash. He became captain his 2nd year, and the team has been the epitome of success since then. Give me a break; "Yzerman went after Maguire". C'mon!

Umm..it looks more like Yzerman went for maguire..so yzerman CHOSE to get his ass kciked. "hats off to yzerman for holding his own" -- Holding his own? By holding his own do you mean getting totally destroyed until someone came to help him? Yzerman is a good player, but you guys treat him as if he's some sort of god or something...Also probert is a piece of shit for punching maguire when he was already down.

What year was this fight. I can't believe a goon like Maguire would pick a fight with Yzerman. Probert should of have have knocked his block off. Hats off to steve Yzerman for holding his own. All us Bell high bruin alumns are proud of Steve.
