wow, kind of amazes me looking and reading the board here that people don't realize Monterey '67..Guess I'm getting older..Canned Heat was one of my all time fave and they really cook here...Saw them alot at Winterland and at the Fillmore way, way back in the day, and they always put on a great show..Check out the crowd..Man are these folks zoned out or what? Love the Steisand Look alike at 1:26..

Well, not really. I was actually John Cippolina's doctor for a while later in his life. But r&r artists played with these images and definately did not "practice what a few songs preached." In general, what I said was correct and the general attitude of the '60s and even '70s. Quicksilver also sang, "Take another hit, of fresh air," while they inhaled cigarretes and other unhealthy substances. |
