does it not occur to you that having their song used as a theme tune for TG made them more popular- you cant buy publicity like being on a show every week watched by 350 million viewers worldwide.

How the hell does that work. I play guitar hero to play/hear great songs. You dont have to be a die hard fan to listen or watch some1. Not every1 just listen to certain music just cause t hey think its popular.

Wow! I don't think I've ever heard a better-crafted song. I find it absolutely thrilling how it gradually makes its way back to the original melody via some very clever key changes and modulations. Makes the hairs on the back of my neck stick up. Reminds me of a Bach Suite for 'cello in its subtle complexity. So what if Top Gear has given it latter-day fame? - it's a great ad for the song. What makes me smile though is the lead's (don't know his name) cool seeming indifference - just chewing.

What the hell kind of statement is that? Who cares how they were introduced to it? The Allman Brothers are awesome, and TG and especially games like RB and GH are going to introduce today's youth to GREAT bands of yesteryear they would normally have never even HEARD of otherwise.Anyone who thinks that's a bad thing should really dunk their head in battery acid.

Anyone who only knows this from Top Gear or Guitar Hero should not be allowed to listen to it. Only people who actually know the song and think it's great because of how the song was written and not because it was on their favorite TV show or some crap like.
