Beg to differ. SRV is the best. That being said, Eric Clapton is a beast and nobody can take away what he has done for music.

SRV and Clapton, yes, but Johnny Winter as well. His feeling and ferocity are rare especially chilling when he gets up the full head of steam.

I respect SRV as a musician, but there is no denying it, Clapton is better. I am a blues guitarist myself, and I find the deepest respect in both of them, but Clapton is just better.

Awesome -- Eric's solos are some of the best played "licks" in blues. Of course you can't leave out SRV.

The lead in this song is so good it nearly rivals his lead on "Have You Ever Loved a Woman" from Derek and the Domino's (Layla and Other Love Songs).

Clapton always plays good, but here he is really on fire. He is so real when he plays. He puts in and we can experience this great ride.
