Whoa whoa whoa, back up a second! You're telling me Mystery Quest was made... by SQUARE?! Whoa! I'm looking at it in a whole other way now... and I mean that in the best way possible!

The long dead NES developer "Taxan" brought Hao's Mystery Adventure to the US as "Mystery Quest"

aadams22 (September 25, 2007 at 12:49 am)
why are the Final Fantasy games in French?
T411Fry (September 20, 2007 at 7:42 am)
square's early games were so shitty before final fantasy, some company or dude threatened to cut square from the gaming industry bc their games sucked so bad, and they really had to bust their ass, and came up with final fantasy

What a nice collection of Square titles & to think that only Final Fantasy, Rad Racer 1&2, 3-D World Runner & King's Knight made it to the U.S.. What a pity we never got to try out that Egyptian-themed RPG, Cleopatra no Mahou (Magic Of Cleopatra).
