this is the dubest argument against piccolo strings e-v-a.fuck you guys and your "bass sound"-check out jeff schmidt he uses piccolo string ragulary and is an amazing BASS player.

IT's a Piccolo Bass. They are standard bass strings, but, thinner to accommodate the tuning which is one octave higher than typical. In other words, the low-e is the sounds the same as a note played on the "a" string on the seventh fret. Nowadays, DeMaio plays a custom Rickenbacker with a neck to accommodate the string size. watch the more recent videos to see what I mean. Les Claypool also uses a piccolo bass.

well this is my opinon... this isnt really a bass solo, it may have the body of a bass but those strongs are basically guitar strongs. he is a good shredder but yeah thats about it.. when it comes to standard sized bass strings im not sure if he is any good ucz i dont no any man o war bass lines but yeah..

Of course he is a bass player, I dont think Manowar should have sounded so good without a bass. Too bad they have skipped the distortion on later albums.Yes it's fun to see someone who really thinks he is the world's best bass player (which he is not) but to say he is a bad bass player, a guitar player and so on... It's not true
