Well, and Chris Isaak did cover this song from Neil Diamond too, but i think his version is so much more original, plus, he has so many other hits, whereas HIM seems to only be known outside of their cover version with the emo and skateboard scene.

I agree, this paved the way for bands like HIM...there is nothing similar between the two other than this song which seems to be one of HIM's more popular songs...funny how it's a cover huh?

Youre obviously someone with a very linear appreciation for music if you cant appreciate how great this song is. HIM is a joke in comparison to what chris isaak has done, he's a legend and is rivaled by NO ONE.Its just a shame this video was filmed in so long ago, then she'd be wearing a thong instead of whitey tighteys.
