You think being a member requires her to fork over millions of dollars to the Opry? No. You think Country is all about money? Take a look at Rap son. Take a look at life in general. Money is everywhere but at least the majority of Country singers are who they really are and aren't putting on some kind of farce like artists from other venues.

Being an Opry member means committment - there are alot of artists who aren't willing or don't have the time to perform at the Opry - West Coast artists are more than likely not available to perform regularly due to location - let's just be happy for the ones who work hard to carry on the Opry tradition - congrats to Carrie and congrats to Craig Morgan for his invite!

okay i disagree with this completely. darius rucker has an awesome hit on his hands. jessica simpsons song is good too despite everyone not liking her. their music still has the country vibe to it. why dont you actually bring up a group that doesnt belong in country...doesnt sound like country music....rascal flatts. i know there are some that will agree with me...some what wont...but tell me this...i didnt say anything about their music..they have great music...its so poppish its ridiculous.
