HK in the long past was given to the British after the result of the war around Beijing (or so i read in history books). In other words Hong Kong became a seperate part of Brit/China, filled with Cantonese citizens, the money is different to the money in China and Hong Kong.Okay not forgetting to mention that Hong Kong was given back to China but STILL it has some British citizens in Hong Kong and the fact that it was given to China does NOT make Hong Kong the country China!
