Ok, looked over some of the comment snad here is what I have to say.Superchick is a band who has both girls and boys, saying that God in his infinite wisdom made us equal and yet the same. There are somethings boys can do that girls can't, vise versa.But, there are things we need to do together. Like have children and keep earth alive til the second coming.And God can be anyhting he wants. I think He is a man so He can Father. Some Fathers are abusive and so He is the loving one.

Just so you know, not every girl assumes guys are pervs... =.=; This whole argument strikes me as sad. God loves us all and sees us as equals... Also, I do agree that God is probably male, but don't forget that the Bible could be referring as a 'Him' because males were the dominant sex of that time.

You guys need some serious skooling. God is a spirit, as is the Holy Spirit, they are neither male nor female. Jesus took on the male form to come to earth, since he couldn't even teach spiritual things if he weren't a woman ( Tim. 2:12) Man and woman were created by God, neither are more important then the other, however God designed them fro different roles and duties, which is why they are physically and mentally different (Gal. 3:28)

But the Bible was put together by a bunch of old men who thought that women were only good for having kids and that they were inferior. They also cut out a lot of the tings written for the bible.
