The only Porsche that is faster than a 2009 R1 on a long straight road like that is a 911 Carrera, but at over $100,000 versus less than $13,000 for the R1, the bike is a better deal.

the r1 2008 makes 310 kph,1/4 mile in 9.6,200 kph in 5.8,160 kph in 4.9 and 100 kph in 2.5

I think the extra power would have really helped in this situation. ZX-14/Hayabusa's are faster on the straight compared to 1000cc models. Also they have a higher top speed.
