I used to live there from 1977-1983. Bloody awful and dangerous place populated by glue sniffers, wannabe mods, and a huge underclass of unemployable cheap fishing labor. Watching this video - nothing's changed! How depressing. Emmigrated to USA as quick as I could.

i live in hastings it isnt that bad at all everyone rekons that u will get stabbed 4 nothing which u wont. it is a bit of a shithol in sum places but there are worse places.
