Pianist: David Fung playing the first movement of Peter Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat major, Op. 23 (Allegro Non Troppo E Molto Maestoso). Few slips here and there but hey, he's playing the Tchaik. concerto.. and i'm just typing about him ;)did you know: when tchaikovsky composed this piece, the man he originally dedicated it to called something to the extent of "hideous," and would tell everyone how much he hated it. so tchaikvosky, not to be made a fool of, took his dedication back and RE-dedicated it to someone who loved it.also, tchaikovsky was a homosexual.

I found some slight bias against homosexuals on Tchaikovsky's wikipedia article. They described his homosexuality as a "sexual preference", therefore indicating the person who wrote it thought homosexuality was a choice. I suppose it only reinforces your comment, that it is true anyone from anywhere can access and change Wikipedia's articles.

from tchaikovskys biography i had the impression that he was a sensitive and gentle man who would have like to express himself, tried to do so through his music:sometimes the most lyrical and sometimes sad and passionly evil like his nightmares. he felt so much pressure because people were not ready to accept free will-choice, and free expression of some feelings and ideas from a man in all areas, sexuallity too.i think he was very sad that his message could not have been understood:freedom.

sukiblat: Wouldn't it be "hómo stultíssimē?" Vocative case exists for second-declension masculine adjectives, no? So, unless you are speaking with him about him in the third person, or there is some verb you excluded, I think it would have to be vocative.Sorry, I couldn't resist being a grammar Nazi. Isn't Latin wonderful?BTW, this has to be one of the most amazing piano concertos. I do love this one.

Now wikipedia is a good thing , as it allows people from all places to have access to various information ,but you should take into consideration that it is not the most credible source you can get .Reason? Anybody can go online and post an article , without the expertize of experts.I am not saying that the information you had is not correct ,I am just saying that any information you find there should be double-checked with credible sources, and not taken for granted.

And why does that scare you?His genious is incontestable , regardless of his sexual orientation.
