Yes I think that you missed my point sonofbeliol...in my own way I was trying to say how dreadful the whole thing was and how people sometimes seem to remember it as though it was some Hollywood style war film. War is evil and solves nothing its certainly not a big macho adventure 'hunting charlies down' like the song says anyway! PS I am British.

VietNam was anything BUT fun... The US lost remember, and 50,000 Americans died. It was a fiasco... and you need help, killing ppl and burning their homes is evil, not "fun". How would you like it?

OMG yeah, I remember this song from about 1986. I didn't have any pubes but I really loved the song. Wooooh Camouflage...things are never quiet the way the seem...woooh Camouflage...thank God I had an awfully big sock for my cream...

It makes Vietnam sound like such good fun. Killing people and burning things...Cant help but like this corny song though!
