We don't have that kind of money either. If you have a fiat currency and fractional reserve banking practices, you can pretend you have as much money you what as long as you have the resources and trade to back it up. The US probably has about 1/20th to 1/30th of its actual wealth because the Federal Reserve multiplies its deposits by that much and loans it to the Government. Banks also create money lending amongst themselves potentially turning $1,000 from one into $20-$30,000 to others.

it isn't a problem for people to come to this country legally.However when you break the law of our land, regardless of why he or she wants to reap the benefits of our great nation, we have a problem.

Actually, Texas declared its independence from Mexico. It then won that independence, before being allowed to join the US. Arizona, New Mexico, and California were given to the US as part of the peace treaty of the Mexican-American war. The war started because Mexico claimed lands north of the Rio Grande, in violation of a treaty between them and the US. Mexico began hostilities by sending troops into the area, and it escalated from there.
