Well, you obviously havent read the instructions very carefully.(LOL)It says to leave your mouth open and breath through your mouth while shooting the rinse up one side of your nose. From the looks of it, you were holding your breath, which makes the experience even much worse, and more of it gets in the back of your throat instead of to the opposite side of your nasal passage, thanks for sharing(Funny), I rinse my nose at least 6 times a day because it works so well.

I've been using it for years.It works !!!Sinusitis .. that's what the folks that did Cat Scans on me called it.It doesn't show up on my CatScans anymore.It Works !!!

An initial squirt into the throat is all that is necessary to mitigate the "disgust" of having the liquid drain to the throat through the sinuses... its curious that Neilmed doesn't list that as a recommended step.
