Nobody knows besides her, Boomer, and God. The general assumption is that Boomer bolted after a fence, like he had been known to do, and Jess tried to turn him out with the arena wall and he tried to jump it. He fell, flipped, and broke her neck.

i found out she got kicked in the head by her horse obviously an accident though goes to show you cant ever trust your horse no matter what its terribly sad but you know i hope i die along side my horse

From what videos I've watched, I think she was out one day by herself and jumped a 4-foot fence and either fell off or her horse fell on her, nobody really knows. When they found her, she was already gone. It was quite sad.
